Kwame Antwi-Boasiako

Dr. Christopher Majka

Dr. Kwame Antwi-Boasiako is a board-certified optometrist with extensive experience in both clinical and research aspects of eye care.

Dr. Antwi-Boasiako conducted his undergraduate and Doctor of Optometry Training in Ghana, West Africa. After years of clinical practice, Dr. Kwame undertook graduate studies in physiological optics and vision science at the University of Houston, Texas. His doctoral research focused on investigating the relationships between the structural and functional measures of vision loss in glaucoma.

Dr. Kwame went on to complete an advanced standing Doctor of Optometry program at the New England College of Optometry in Boston, Massachusetts. He is certified by the National Board of Examiners in Optometry and Texas Optometry Board for treatment and management of ocular diseases and has been providing eye care services for the residents of Corpus Christi since 2021. Dr. Antwi-Boasiako is passionate about glaucoma, neuro-ophthalmic diseases, binocular vision disorders and ocular diseases in general.
He is a member of the American Academy of Optometry, the Association of Researchers in Vision Science and Ophthalmology as well as the Texas Optometric Association.

Dr. Antwi-Boasiako and his family have enjoyed living in Corpus Christi since 2016 and are excited to continue to serve the coastal bend area with their professional skills and talents.
