David Browning is a board-certified optometrist, medically trained and certified in the treatment and management of ocular disease and glaucoma. He began practicing Optometry in Corpus Christi in 2010 and has called it home ever since. Born in Elko, NV, Dr. Browning spent a majority of his childhood in Idaho Falls, Idaho. He served a two-year LDS Mission in the Dominican Republic where he became fluent in Spanish. Upon successful completion of his Mission he returned home to complete his bachelor’s degree in Biology from Idaho State University in May of 2006. He then attended Optometry school at Pacific University in Forest Grove, Oregon. Dr. Browning also completed clinical externships in Oregon, Utah, and Idaho with emphasis in contact lenses and ocular disease. He is a member of the Texas Optometric Association, the American Optometric Association and the Corpus Christi Optometric Society. Following graduation in May of 2010, LT Browning attended officer development school in June of 2010 and then he served as a department head and full-time optometrist at Naval Health Clinic Corpus Christi from June 2010 to June 2013. After his time of service, Dr. Browning has continued practicing locally and proudly calls Corpus Christi home with his wife and three children.
